Day one in my new home...
I picked out my new humans at the Petsmart in McKinney today. They picked me up after I ran over to them from inside the cage... I purred and snuggled and they held me for a long time. But they left... *sigh*
The humans came back hours later and picked me up again. I purred and snuggled and didn't let them put me back this time. I knew they were keeping me when they put a plaid collar on me! I was given my first shot and it didn't hurt a bit! I didn't even cry! Then we went out into the great outside.
We got into a vehicle, which I really didn't like too much but there was a safe place to hide so I only cried for a minute or two.
Then we got home... There were already 2 big cats that live here. The black one named Dougal didn't seem too impressed. The yellow one doesn't like me at all. He keeps hissing and growling at me.
I was then taken to a room I have all to myself. There is food, water, a safe place, and the humans brought me lots of toys to play with. I let them pick me up and I purr and purr then play some more.
I was named Scud instead of Tabitha because of one of the humans storm chasing friends. A scud cloud is black, scary looking but non-threatening cloud.
